I rewired our bay boat (18ft Sea Chaser) last year. Took about 3 days, and maybe $200 in materials. I think I did a good job, used a Blue Seas fuse box and home-runned all the positives and negatives on the switches back to the fuse box. Looked neat, worked great! Then Sally destroyed the whole boat. Dammit. But the wiring was sound. The radio was playing until the battery died.
