NauticStar 2102 ultra with a Yamaha 150. It currently has a solas 14 1/4 x 17 on it. As I said earlier it is obvious someone has hit something with it. It’s not bad but a couple dings about the size of a quarter. I need to either have that fixed or put a new prop on it. I’m seriously leaning to a new prop.

It also has prop chatter below about 900rpms. Also a pronounced clunk putting it in and out of gear which I don’t like. Until now I’ve never had a SS prop and the chatter and clunk really bothers me.

I only want to do this once. Given what I’ve told you which prop would you recommend? I’m thinking about a Yamaha reliance SDS 14 1/4 x 17. I’m thinking that would solve all my concerns
It might, as well as the other two props I mentioned.

The Painted Stainless Steel has a pressed-in rubber hub, so it’s not as hard shifting, and it does fine on the F150.

The Turbo 1 is a square bore prop so you can use a Quicksilver Flo-Torq IV hub which is designed to alleviate the shift clunk and prop rattle you are experiencing.
