It will come up and you can get all the glue off but it will NOT look brand new. It tends to stain in some places on some boats under the material. Over time the sun my bleach it out or an acid based deck cleaner mite get you looking good.
As for plasdek and similar synthetic teak products those are pretty well down forever. The only way I have gotten it up is pounding pry bar under it and ends up with lots of damage. That material does get pretty damn hot as well. It is very durable but you lose the softness which is what people always like about seadek.

Its a give and take and you have to figure out how you will treat it and if its worth it.
