Run whats stated on the tires. Boys on the dodge fourm said lose 20 pounds truck will ride better. It will. It will also eat out tires at about a 50 percent rate.
When you deflate your tires you create drag. Why do you think you air down to go on the beach to 18 to 20 pounds. It puts more tires in the sand. If you hit the beach with 60 pound of air in the tires, if you make it from the road to the beach you will be lucky.
Anything under rated tire pressue creates heat. My company has a Dovan air computer if one tires drops below 110 pounds, they are suppose to be on 120 I get a call within 15 minuets.
Always a choice but you get better fuel millage without that drag.
