The main selling point of flouro is that it a LOT more abrasion and stretch resistant than mono.

If you are getting scraped it is probably because you need more drag for the strike to keep these lure and leader out of the rokks.

You can save money using mono, but the increase umber of lost jigs and lost bites using mono is more costly, imo.

Buy flouro in 100yd to 1700 yd spools with your friends, much much cheaper.
