TruTrips have an adjustable setting similar to a dipsey.

Each of the sizes has their own depth curve. 40s work great off of big boards. 40s worknon inlines but are not as easy. 30s run on inlines but take more line out as compared to the 40s.

I run TT 50s off the corners similar to a dipsey at a 0 setting.

Dipseys are the fastest way to set, catch and reset. I love dipsey programs.

You if you run multiples on one side you can see if you have small fish or grass.

You should go on a teaching charter. Make sure the charter is going to fish how you intend to set up your boat. Big boards or small boards.

All rods should be the same, and Rod holders are important so you can visually see the rods bend. Any small fish will change the rod curve.
