Of course I'am bias - I own a 223 Dusky FAC, now sold as the 252. However I've spent time on a Parker 25 DV fishing off both the RI and FL coast. I've only fished the Dusky off both the NC & SC coast. I purchased the Dusky over the Parker due to the Carolina Bow Flair on the Dusky. Years ago I owned a McKee 22 Freedom - no bow flare - wettest ride ever. If you plan on going off shore - purchase a boat with bow flare. No boat is completely dry. However, bow flair does help keeping spray out of the helm and cockpit. If the Parker comes with good amount of bow flair... Make a choice.

Measure both boats "length" at the water (hull) line only. Exclude the added length of the bracket.
