There is no perfect boat. First consideration is the climate it will be used in. There is a reason why not many CCs are seen in the NE or NW. Second consideration is the intended use. Assuming that you are warm water & warm climate day boating the CC is the most versatile design & their numbers confirm it. If overnighting is your activity then a CC is about useless. If cruising involving multiple nights & some distance from a fuel dock is a passion then be prepared to slow down, maybe go to one engine & make it diesel.
