Yes, Disney, Universal, etc are filled with kids but they are also filled with adult groups. The real young kids will be at parts of the parks geared towards them so don't let their presence discourage you. Also, remember you will be there while school is in session so the crowds won't be as bad. Disney is not at the top of my list of places to go, but I believe everybody should experience it at least once.

If that's not your thing, Crystal River is only about a 2.5 - 3 hour drive across the state to the Gulf side. From what I understand, this is a good time of year to check out the manatees there. We have friends that have been and said it was a blast. It's on our list of things to do.
