Default The "Fat THTer" update...

A couple of weeks or so ago a thread I was involved in really got me thinking hard about my eating habits and overall health. Sometimes we just forget to step back and really survey ourselves. I made a decision then and there to cut out eating anything processed and to stick with healthier choices, skipping the carbs and focusing mostly on fruits and vegetables. I can say that since that point, I've dropped 6 pounds, which on my 200+ lb frame isn't much but a good start. I gave up the rum and beer, which sucked. I gave up breads, rice and pasta, which sucked. But...

1. I'm sleeping so much better than I used to...
2. My wife thinks its awesome that I'm losing weight...
3. My wallet has noticed a difference since I quit eating lunch out during the day and started bringing a small salad everyday instead...

So to all of you self righteous, sanctimonious, preachy pricks out there that made me be honest with myself... well... thanks.
