See a Physical therapist.
I have not had luck with the arm band thingies.
I play and coach ice hockey. combined with typing and all the hobbies I have, I go in and out with tendonitis. I have to do stretches and other things to keep the muscles in my forearm from tightening up and inflaming the elbow.
(the problems is in the forearm, not the elbow, the elbow is the victim and not the problem)

Cortisone is a jump start. But you have to go to PT. Once you feel better, don't stop the PT until they say to stop. you will be well off to continue some of the exercise they give you until you die.
until I die I will be doing back, forearm and groin stretches for fear of reinjure of those areas.

Good Luck
