Our 18 has a full transom and a jack plate, but had to have a splash well added instead of a flat washboard.
If we get a break in the weather, I'll go take a few pics for you to see how it was designed. After you see the pics, you will see why i'm recommending a mock up before going any farther with the transom as designed.
