I agree with the above. Just traded an X5 35d two weeks ago after owning it for 8 years. Iíve never owned a car that so perfectly balances capability, space, performance, economy, and confidence. That 3.0L diesel is awesome. Unfortunately, I also agree that owning one out of warranty can get expensive. Mine finally got expensive enough that I got tired of paying for repairs. Never got tired of the car, though.
