Most of the nightlife is going to be South Lake Tahoe where the Casinos and such are. Good little town. Lakeside Casino is my favorite.

Ive only been in winter so I can’t help much beyond that, but man that place is beautiful. Try to get up to Heavenly and take the gondola up. Right in downtown South Lake. View is amazing of Big Blue.

edit: I’m sure that water will be quite chilly....
