Our fire Department put a pair of 300s on the back of our 30' Century CC that we built into a fire fighting and rescue boat. We have a large monitor and pump on the front deck and a lot of rescue equipment on board so we run pretty heavy. The lake we cover is at 5900 feet and they're able to get us on plane in about two boat lengths. They're extremely simple to run since they auto trim and the motors sync so the throttles match. That was important to us as not all of our Firefighters have a lot of twin motor experience. The push button winterization is an awesome feature as well. I can't say enough good about the motors. Last summer we pulled 4 people from the waters that would have died otherwise so they've definitely paid for themselves.
