Is that Washington Lake or Lake Washington in Washington State? If the latter then there are only two choices from Seattle. Aloha Cargo (800)327-7739 - barge service slower but cheaper or Matson Navigation (800)462-8766 - ship transport faster but more expensive. Take your pick.

Are you sure you want a Glacier Bay? Windward boats really sells them up big but they are awful expensive for what you get. I shipped my boat to Hawaii and found it was far less expensive to ship it on the trailer with Matson then to have it shipped by a vendor. I was able to buy a trailer AND ship for less then half the cost of using a Co. I do agree that there are less expensive options than Matson but shipping on the trailer is surely the way to go.

Call SAUSE BROS in Coos Bay. They have a regular barge tow run out of Longview Wa to one of the Islands
Primarily Weyco Lumber, the top deck is always scattered with boats secured by Longshoremen.

I just shipped my World Cat 270TE via PASHA lines from San Diego. I think PASHA also ships out of Washington. Check their website. Boat was delivered on time and in perfect condition. Matson charges for trailer length including tongue. PASHA went by the LOA of boat. Saved about 1k with PASHA. Check out their website under PASHAHAWAII.com. Sause brothers was reasonable, but boat would be on an open barge. PASHA shipped boat under deck - roll on/roll off. Good Luck!

Matson needs competition, period! They're simply too big, too arrogant, too impersonal, and too expensive. They've had a virtual "strangle-hold" on the people (and businesses) of Hawaii since 1882 for the shipment of anything and everything from cars and boats, to fuel, lumber and groceries. And their stevedores (i.e., longshoremen) are some of the highest paid in the known world! So GO Pasha!

Over the last twenty-five years, we've shipped a total of three boats from the U.S. mainland to Hawaii (from Alaska, Seattle and California), and we had very little choice other than Matson in each instance. But we shipped another one (a 27' center console) from San Diego to Hawaii early last year using their new competitor (i.e.,Pasha-Hawaii), and the service and pricing were absolutely excellent.
