The radon hull design is very popular here (Hawaii) because it's so rugged and can handle the rough seas here. There are a lot of boats and hull designs, but the "radon" hulls are designed for the combination of stability and ride. Might be worth your while to check out a popular boat maker here that uses the radon hull design. 808-828-1583 will get you to Lightnin Fiberglass Co on Kauai. Simple operation... no web site.
