That's a tough area. Same thing happened there a couple of years ago on a charter fishing vessel. Sad story no doubt.

A sneaker wave flipped an 18'er off Eureka last Sat. Two drowned. The USCG bird sent to rescue, fell into the surf but the crew is OK. Landed upright, then waves put it on its side.
