Guys,

Thought I might pass this along in case any of you are looking for some big motors. A good friend of mine is refitting a large sportfisher in the Vancouver, BC area. The yard pulled out a pair of Detroit Diesel 12V-71 mains and a pair of 30KW generators. 1981 vintage. Everything is in working order. I believe the engines even come with a 2:1 ZF transmission.

If you, or anyone is interested, please drop me a line. I will put you in contact with the Captain. Don't have a hard price for these items, but they will go for dirt cheap. Talking pennies on the dollar here. Would be ideal to buy just to have the availability of spare parts.
