Well technically I live in Crescent City, CA. But, my 42 foot steel commercial salmon troler has an Oregon Permit only, so OR waters are my stomping grounds.

This site has provided lots of good info during various searches, so I thought I would sign up.

New guy here. I live in Graham, Wash. and am retired so I have lots of time to spend out on the salt. I read THT several times a week mostly the boats for sale forums so I can drool over the east coast fishing boats. I would spend more time on THT if it had a dedicated NW (Oregon, Washington) forum.

So I posted back in may about coming to Bremerton soon. Now that I'm here I am trying to find somewhere to park my boat. Hoping to find something cheap and with electrical access so I can continue to get everything ready. Could be a storage yard or a back yard not too picky as long as the boat is safe. Any ideas or leads y'all have would be appreciated.

I just use our trawler for living and cruising the Salish Sea. Mostly fisher people on here.

In SW WA, Just North of Vancouver. I check THT every week or two, depending how the fishing has been. Fish the lower CR more than the salt, but am all about making the run for albies on the nicer days, been known to catch a flat fish or two, and if the crab are full the traps go out. Same name in I-F, only slightly more active in actual posting.

Default can we include British Columbia?

I fish with more North west Washington fisherman than Canadians off the west coast of Vancouver Island. We have lotmore in common than say with someone from San Diego

Oak Harbor, WA. I will be an active poster. Fish the entire Puget Sound and made my first 2 trips to Westport last year for Albacore...Amazing. Recently been fishing Blackmouth in the straits and San Juan Islands. Best luck has been on the west side of Hein Bank, outgoing tide, and Mac Arthur Bank on Incoming. Best luck is defined as 1-4 fish an entire day with only 1 of the four being keeper quality. My next outing heading to Area 9 to fish possession, point-no-point and surrounding areas. Want to try mooching...

I am in Coos Bay, have a 2001 Luhrs 34 with yanmars. We fish almost year around in rivers, bay or ocean. I have three other boats to meet the demand. If we have days we can't fish, Bandon Dunes is 20 miles away.
Seldom get on here but will start looking more often.

Default Coos bay

Spent all weekend with boat in dry dock. New paint and wax, sure looks nice. If anyone wants to buy this vessel, would get quite a deal.

Default Fishing/Shrimping Area 6

I did pretty good on the Columbia for Springers. Looking for some tips on fishing Area 6 for butts and shrimping. It will be my first time doing both in that area. I have fished Neah Bay with the Arima group but going to miss out this year.

So I am on my own.

Thanks,

John
