Default Help--Cajun Flying into PDX Tomorrow!

Well--my family scheduled our Christmas gathering at a small ski lodge on Mt Hood. I've got my Mom and Dad stuck in Portland now, and Me, the admiral and kids are flying in tomorrow--with intentions to drive up to Mt. Hood to spend Christmas.

The weather advisories and all that unfamiliar white stuff has got all us Cajuns in a panic. Is this going to work? Any advice?

Help!

Update:

Upgraded car rental to a Subaru AWD (to the tune of $400 extra--Geez!) and took it slow. Arrived to find 36 inches of snow around our cabin! Total Winter Wonderland--the kids loved it--the adults loved it.

Great time had by all...

Hope all of you had a Merry Christmas and will have a Happy New Year.
