Default Visitor to San Francisco Area - What to see/do?

Guys -

I am going to be in the Bay area next weekend for work and bringing the wife. Looking for recommendations on places to go, things to do. Restaurants, tours, bars....whatever. Planning some sort of Napa/Wine country tour and fishermans wharf I guess.

Thanks in advance...

BM

If I was headed out this way and staying in San Francisco, I would take the ferry to Sausalito from the Ferry building. The new Hall of Science has just opened, way cool and a new aquarium that shows all of the West coast saltwater fish. There are several nice bars and restaurants in the Fisherman's wharf, take your pick. I would try and get to North Beach and have a hamburger at Moe's and if possible, breakfast at Mama's.
Napa is great this time of your, the harvest is going on and the colors of the vineyards are great right now. If your in Napa, take the Silverado trail stop at Conn Creek winery and ten up the road stop at Duck Horn winery. If you like champagne, stop at Chandon winery on Hi way 32 (I think).
Have fun, and if you have some time head south on HIway 1 into Half Moon Bay, an old fishing town and have a drink at the Harbor Bar or dinner at Ketch Joanne's. If you want to have a great dinner next to the beach, the Miramar is the best food around.

I hope this helps, have a great time.
