Default share charter for albacore tuna mid july off oregon

i'd like to do a day trip out of Depoe Bay Oregon aboard the "AFFAIR" capt'd by Loren Goddard.
I shared a long range trip down to mexico with him last xmas/new years and we talked about doing a tuna trip on his boat.
We need 6 guys in total to fill the "6-pack" boat at $225 a pop.
I have 2-3 guys, need a couple more to fill the boat.
Albacore fishing should be no more than a few miles off the coast and filled with good non-stop action on tuna.
This should be a great trip filled with fun and a real freezer filler too. Loren runs a great boat and is a top notch pro in every way.

any takers?

Too funny, I'm traveling to Vancouver Island to fish, you are coming to Oregon to fish. We really need to schedule stuff like this. The good news, the first sport boat caught tuna off Charleston yesterday. They should be around Newport for the OTC on the 12th. You should be in prime tuna time with your trip.

didn't make it down to Oregon for tuna, but in mid july they where out of range (est 70+ nm offshore). The fish on the west coast seem to be a month behind. i did a week plus fishing west coast of van isle and the numbers and quality fish were down. usually in mid july chinooks are 15-25 pounds, but the consistent average was 10-20's with only a very few hogs over 30. The halibut this year also averaged small at 10-20#'s. I did get luck and bag a bunch of nice ling cod in the 10-20# range.

I'm considering a tuna trip again but in late august.

anyone interested in help filling a 6-pack boat out of Depoe Bay, OR?
