I Have the Sirius weather package with a 6100i Northstar, I totally love it, I would not go offshore without it.
I am positive there is total USA coverage.
Call around your area look for a knowledgeable electronics dealer and see if you can get a demo.
This is great stuff, you have to see it

I dont think the weather moves nearly as fast in the PNW as it does off the Atlantic. Not sure how useful it is. Fun yeah but maybe a novelty. Let me know what you learn. I am doing the Navnet 3D units when they become available but have not really put to much thought into the Sat Weather for the reasons stated above.

I have the Sirius system installed with a Raymarine C series chartplotter. It has never worked. After dozens of phone calls and e-mails to Raymarine they've now told me it doesn't work and they say the problem is with Sirius. Raymarine has offered me money back on the hardware but I prepaid a year subscription with Sirius. Sirius says this is the first they've heard that they have a problem. I'm based in Sequim, WA and run the Strait of Juan de Fuca, Admiralty Inlet, Strait of Georgia and more around Port Angeles, Port Townsend and the San Juans. I have a thread on the electronics section that I've been asking if anyone in my area has that same setup. Good luck and be careful.
