Default West Coast Help

Hey guys, i'll be out in san diego next week to visit some friends of mine who are in the service. I'm an east coast guy, but would love to try to set up a fishing trip out there, either a charter or party boat. Think someone could point me in the right direction, for a san diego charter captain, or party boat recomendation.
what type of fishing would be popular out in san diego???
I do a lot of striped bass, fluke, and shark fishing out of jersey.... any advice would be very helpful.
Thanks.

You will find a lot of fishing by the sportfishing fleet docks. Check out some of the 1/2 day and 3/4 day fishing.
1/2 Fishing Boats
Daily Double
Fisherman III
3/4 Boats
Malihini
Mission Belle
Right now the Albe's and in but not strong. I will be leaving on a 3 day trip at the end of this month.
PM me for more info.

There's a million 1/2, 3/4, full day boats that you can jump on out of either SD Bay or Mission Bay (slightly north of SD bay). All of the above are good options. Try H&M Landing or Seaforth. Each has several boats to fit your needs.

Get on a 3/4 or full day boat for your best chance at good fishing. Albacore are still around and the patty fishing is starting to heat up with yellowtail, dorado and yft being caught. Next week should be great. Rent gear at the landing or bring a 20-30lb set up. All you need are some live bait hooks and maybe a few 1/2 - 3/4 ounce sliding sinkers.
