Default Places to tie-up in San Diego Bay

Are there any good places to tie up for lunch/dinner in San Diego Bay?

Places yes...good??? eh..
Loew's hotels has sever restaurants. It's south of the bridge.
There's a Joes Crab Shack where you can get overcooked seafood. Soggy crab legs anyone?
There are some more but I can't recall their names. Something near the Star of India that's pretty good. It's pretty fun to boat up for dinner and come back in the evening.

San Diego Bay has several spot do Dock and Dine...
Peohes in Coronado (at the ferry landing) is a very nice place http://www.peohes.com/home.html
If you go to http://www.thebigbay.com/dockndine/
it will show you all the restaurants on the bay that have docks
Also, over on Shelter Island is the transient docks where you can rent a slip for a few days and walk to all the hotel restaurants on Shelter Island.
Good luck...

If memory serves, that would be Anthony's Seafood Grotto (between the moorings off of the CG station and the Star of India)

The dock at Pehoe's (Coronado Ferry Landing) is closed.
Anthony's has a dock (right next to the Star of India)
Bali Hai has a dock- and a great Happy Hour
Island Prime has an agreement with the next door marina to use the dock
I believe you can also use the dock at Kona Kai if you are going to their resturant

The dock by the restaurant at by the Star of India is torn up right now. Not sure what did it, but it's out of service pending repairs.

I'm at the Kona Kai. I think you can tie up on K dock (the big boat dock) to patronize the resturant, but the resturant isn't exactly exciting. Call the dockmaster.
Peohe's used to be a good place to go, but who knows when, or if, the city will repair the dock. At least the dock was big enough, as I need at least 70' of clear space due to my 66" length. The dock at Anthony's is a joke, but so is the resturant since the Star of The Sea Room closed.
The Bali Hai might have a decent happy hour, but the food makes McDonald's look good.
Where is Island Prime? And how big is the available dockage?
