Default Dana Point Ca.

Just read in BoatUS mag. March 07 that the marina is getting hammered for forken stores.
Man I miss that marina.

I would avoid the Dana launch ramp until construction is finished. I launched there last weekend and less than half of the parking and ramp space is available for use. Ended up being a bit of a nightmare getting out on Sunday afternoon.

I think the construction is scheduled to be finished in May.

It'll be a pain for a long time, but once it's done it should be a lot nicer. Lots of folks in an uproar though. We're keeping our BW Revenge down in Oceanside for the time being.

Haven't been down to DP since September '06 or so.

They are gonna remove around 300 sub 25ft. slips through attrition.and add more large slips, and put multi level dry storage on the front, expand some parking take away others. It might be noted that the county runs the harbor not the city, the county offices are miles away and the bean counters makeing these decisions probably grew up elsewhere.
