Using 'marine' ethanol treatment in truck
I recently purchased a second truck that I use primarily on the weekends. It does not got used often, so my guess is that I should worry about ethanol in the gas. I try to keep it topped off. Is ethanol an issue if I am only going through about 5 gallons per week in a 35 gal. tank? If ethanol is an issue, is it alright to use Sta-Bil "marine" ethanol treatment? Aside from it being more expensive, can this do any harm to the truck?
Also, I replaced the fuel lines in the boat to be ethanol-friendly. Should I worry about this in the truck as well? My guess is no, but there are many of you with more experience than myself on these issues. Thank you for your time and any suggestions!
