Random Quote: Make love, not war.-Hell, do both GET MARRIED!
Here's my new tow rig, I replaced my '07 GMC classic 3500 with an '11 F-450. The picture is from Sunday when I finalized the deal and I picked it up today.
My new ride, My first venture to GM as my daily driver, Chevrolet 2006 LBZ, short bed. Its got MBRP dual exhaust and an AFE filter on it, it runs fairly strong. Not sure how much lift, I'm trying to figure it out now. Tires are new NIttos, 305-something-20's. Its a Fabtech lift so I'm scourring their site trying to figure it out. I'll throw some more pics up when I get em, this one is off my phone. Let me know what your guess is on the lift if you've got something similar. Thx

That is a Fabtech 6" lift. Take special care when inspecting your frame for rust in all the spots that the frame was cut. This will be in the front suspension area, not the rear. Looks nice.

Thanks man, very appreciated. It doesn't look like 6" but its the only kit I can find from them so it must be. I'll get the creeper out and take a peek right now for the frame cuts just to be sure.

nice F450.....here are my new shoes....before and after pics finally installed yesterday. I couldnt stand all the space in the wheel wells. If i wanted it any lower i need to swap the truck for a 4x2, but i think im happy with what i got.

Nice truck, looks good! I'm going to probably go with the 19.5" direct bolt ons and some 245/70/19.5 traction tires to get it to sit the same height as the SRW 4x4's do. Also this would change my gearing ratio to approximately 4.10 for a little better freeway rpm's. The other thing I am going to do is pull the 2" rear blocks and replace them with 4" blocks when they become available so when I load the truck it will be level and not squat.
04 ram 2500 gas with rear air bags meyer plow salt spreader loaded 3tons of salt 14,000 on the scales. only 5,000 over gross weight.drives like a caddy
