Default Fender Bracket for 2002 Loadmaster

Had a blowout last week and the explosion tore the front fender bracket on the port side off the trailer frame. I've spent the last few hours trying to find a replacement bracket and finally found one here....http://www.trailerpartsdepot.com/ite...06%2DL&eq=&Tp= My problem is they want 23 bucks to ship a 1lb piece of aluminum which is more than the actual cost of the bracket itself. The loadmaster website doesnt seem to have the bracket at all and I cant seem to find it on any other site. Only dealer for the trailer is located over an hour away. I was hoping one of you seasoned guys might could point me to a website that has this elusive bracket thats not coming up on my searches. Thanks in advance for any help!!

Loadmaster will have the bracket. Not sure what they charge.

Get the VIN off your trailer (it will start with 4YPAB - last 5 digits is all they need) and they can match it up.

How much time and effort are you willing to put in to save $23.00? Other vendors will still charge shipping, perhaps $15.00. So you save $8.00.

You say there's a dealer "an hour away". I'll assume they have a telephone so why not call them and get a price. Their shipping may be less. Of course, you'll pay sales tax if they are in your state or if you pick it up in person.

And as suggested above, you can call the manufacturer direct and get a price.

Do what fish_on says & find out how much Loadmaster wants for this part. If it's less than your other place and you can wait, I'll be going past the Loadmaster office on April 2, and am sure I can mail it for $10 - 12 shipping.

Yes, but you'll have to pay sales tax.
