Totally not true about the Dodge. The 47RE trans did not hold up well to the massive amounts of power the tuners were getting out of the 12 valve Cummins, that much is true. The 48RE behind the H.O. 24 valve Cummins is much stronger and the 68RFE is a beast. However, there are still some people that tow 15k pounds in overdrive, never change the trans fluid, and call it an inferior POS when it needs an O-haul at 120k miles. Also, there is not a better differential on the market, than the American Axle in the '03 and up HD's. As far as the rest, interior fit/fisnish. It's on par with the Ford and GMC. As far as the Ford diesels, I know techs that work at Ford. The only guys that are constantly busy are the diesel techs. Big, expensive repairs. Sorry to derail the thread, but I got to call BS when I see it.
