Any news on the Tundra/Sequoia Diesel?

I have read rumors of a 4.5 liter diesel engine that was going to be offered in the Sequoia and Tundra for 2010. Anyone have any information on the particulars or has this project died?

I think the project may have died. I did a quick search on google and didn't see anything newer than 2008. I also checked around a bit when the 4runner came out last month and saw only hopeful consumers and nothing concrete. Too bad.

Due to the economy they cancelled the diesel. But Ford is coming out with their new one in 2011.

Already been announced and there are "prototypes" being shown at selected events.

Don't hold your breath. We are building prototype 2011 frames and there are no diesel ones in the line up.

the 150 and 250 and up frames are totaly different.
