Hey Brett, I have an 08 2500 w/ Duramax I use to pull my 32 Regulator... I love both, The only thing I did is put a leveling kit on the front and a set of EGR fender flares...You are going big bucks extreme.. god bless you, my questions are, does the BIG lift kit have any possible repercussions on the drive train warranty ??
Can any of the high performance after market toys have warranty claim issues ?? If financially you don't care then I understand, I used to have along time ago a 10" lift on a K5 Blazer, I went through u-joints monthly, I am leaving my truck as is... good luck with yours. jw

Beautiful truck, I love that color. Thought you might go for a dually again?

Yes lifting can affect your warranty. Dealerships are pretty anal about any modifications on any vehicle and MOST will void your warranty, especially for ecm modifications (programmers). Remember though, Magnusson moss act is your friend.

Nice setup, someone most roam the dieselplace . All you need now are cognitos long travel airbags and NTBD upgrade for the 7 inch that are coming out soon.

The dealer actually installed the lift and they are standing behind it.

Looks great....never can do a lift because I pull several goosnecks. Talk to me about you are doing with the DPF delete....which programmer to cancel codes.... which exhaust to replace after the DPF removal and cost. Been wanting to do that, the DPF seriously shackles the economy on these trucks. I don't care about the warranty and I don't need more power...just want my truck to get the mileage of the pre DPF's and not deal with the problems I know this thing is gonna cause in the future when it clogs. Thanks and PM me if you like.

You have 4 choices for DPF delete right now. PPE, Quadzilla, Edge Evo Race and EFI Live which is more of a custom tuning. You can get any turbo back exhaust for an 06-07 classic and it will fit with the exception of one or two hangers. I'm running the PPE hot with a 4 inch turbo back exhaust. Really wakes the truck up.

Sorry man, didn't mean to "call your girl ugly." That thing is sweet. Nice new toy.

Will be hard to miss that rolling with a new 36 behind it.

This is very smart, I did the same thing when I bought my current truck. After the lift and rims / tires, I was getting a front tire rub at full turn when hitting a bump. The Service Adviser did start to say it was "my aftermarket lift, rims and tires". I had the Sales Manager come out to service and speak to Service Manager and Adviser and I never had another issue.

The dealer even let me supply the lift, and the cold air intake, as well as worked a flat rate for most of my aftermarket installs.

When it is time to sell do you just leave all the DPF delete stuff in place or put it back original?

Around two hours for standard black Line-X,add another 45 minutes for Line-X Xtra. Bring it down and while we spray the truck we can go harass YF in my D-Max

Yeah thats the way to do it is to get your dealer to do the aftermarket work and back it, most won't. FYI A LOT of dealers frown on DPF removal/ecm modifications, so make sure you find a dealer in your area that is fine with that before you get this stuff done. Most won't even work on the truck with dpf deletes. To the guy that posted earlier, for programming Id go with PPE if you just wanna do a DPF delete, for more extreme tuning options go with EFILIVE. As for exhaust try MBRP and RBP are both pretty popular for these trucks.

Yeah you could revert the dfp back on if you wanted to sell, you would just have to reset your tune.

Heres a pic of my setup, 09 2500 black granite metallic, cognito UCA's, tie rod sleeves, pitman idler, t-bars mildly cranked, Bilsteins all around, airlift 5000 bags in rear with airlift Wireless air controller, amp sides steps and had the front and rear chevy logo's color matched to the truck, oh and also line-x. Pulls my 32 edgewater like a champ, I think we need to start a cognito club?!
