Pull your boat out for impending storm, then NOT park it on high enough ground I just pulled the wheels and did a repack last week as I am pulling her south in 2 weeks... Now I get to do it over... I will be rinsing the pizz outta my Tie Downs today too
............. it was cool and balmy down here last night.
..
Yeah, I hear about it all the time, Wednesday night I got a call from a bud at the bikini contest at Treasure Coast Harley, last night the GF was drinkin'n'dialing at Crawdaddys..... She better find a job, thats why she is there ahead of me.. Shes running out of excuses LOL
See ya real soon man!
When I launch, I dunk the trailer for just a few seconds, not an hour or so.. They probably are okay because I know they are fully packed with grease.. But I do hate that lingering feeling/question in the back of my mind during the 18 hours of screaming down 95...

Hmm..if it were me, I would give it an hour or so, check the hubs (warm, not hot) and then finish the trip. Maybe at a little more relaxed pace....
You also weren't dunked nearly as deep as you would have been if you were launching, so very little differential pressure across the seals to drive the water in.
Do you have bearing buddies? Thy maintain a positive pressure in the hub which helps to keep water out.
If you've got a system that allows you to flush the old grease out without pulling the hubs you could just flush the grease.
I agree with everyone else. If you don't have a history of water intrusion I think you should leave them alone.

Pop the caps and take a look. Probably ok but why think about it for 18 hrs. If there's water just take the hubs off and the water will drain out like it was never there. As long as you don't move the trailer the water won't mix with the grease.

I pulled the rubber outer caps yesterday (it has Super Lube hubs), and I saw no water, just grease in all 4... We'll know soon enough as I am pulling out tomorrow for Stuart
Four days stuck in this house with nobody but you guys has driven me over the edge, I'm outta here! Taking the boat, truck and Thelma down, flying back up and start heading back down Sunday morning on a 45 Viking

If you have super lubes...just lube em till the old grease comes out the front..if it doesn't look milky you're probably fine.....just jack er up and spin the wheel while greasing to get the new grease all through the bearings...I have the super lube on my ole Load Rite and it's the best thing I ever did to that trailer...

Well... I made it down without a single issue (except finding out now my air con is no longer blowing cold) always something...
So heres the actual trip info I photoed at the light around the corner from the end.... Hard to believe that average, got stuck goin thru DC at 25 for a long long looong time... Cruise set on 68-70 the whole way. Garmin shuts off with the truck, so the 'stopped time' is not accurate
