Default Help find parts for "Front Center Bunks"

I was quoted by a local trailer dealer 200 bucks per side for the "baby bunks" or "front center bunks" as seen in the picture below. Thats 400 bucks for bunks, I don't think so!

Where can I get the hardware to make this style of bunks as shown? I want the square type of pipes seen here not the flat type sold
here

I can put it all together, just need the hardware. THANKS!

I made my own after my dealer ones rotted after only 1 year. Use the new composite deck material epoxied 3 pieces together then undercpated them, drilled holes for bolts then counter sank bolt holes carpet and mounted. have had no problems.Got all from Lowes.

I have seen plenty of places selling the flat brackets, but have never seen the square or pipe style brackets listed for sale. The only place I have seen them is on the custom boat trailers.

If you do find a source, please let us know.

If this is going to be for your own boat, i would custom make a solid wood brace on each crossmember and then use some 2x6 to form the bunks...

This way it is more solid and custom contoured to your boat...I did this on a 30' scarab sport i had because the boat was so darn long and i needed the extra front bunks to keep the hull aligned as i got it on the trailer.

See attached picture Go to Owen and Sons website for a few more pictures...
