08 2500HD LMM.Pursuit C280. Boat looks small at that angle. Truck pulls it great. 11 mpg coming up. Triple Axle trailer a must. Bringing her back down to FL from VT in a week or so.

I don't have a boat yet, but looking for a 27-31 Contender. Here's the tow rig.

It's an '07 Classic. Dmax, built tranny by Merchant Automotive in Michigan, bunch of other goodies.

Its an FJ, as you can see below. But this is what the undercarriage looks like, and what makes it different than other FJ's (but my skids are black) 3/16th steel plate. Don't wanna break anything under there when I'm fooling around offroad

96 Ford Van, Chateau, 5.8L. It's been a great family and tow vehicle.
Looking to replace it possibly with a white Tacoma, long bed, 4 door, 4x4, 6 cyl.

'02 Chevy 2500HD 4x4 Duramax/Allison 210K+ miles. Gonna dry her till the wheels fall off...because she is paid for. They sure as hell don't give these oil burners away.

You have what I am interested in to tow my 240 LTS.
How does the Tacoma do towing your boat?
Approx. boat weight?
Acceleration, stopping?
You do have the tow package, right?

Thank you for the info.

Tows very well. The hull is 2800 plus T-top, Fuel, 600 pound Yamaha, trailer, and crap on board. I am guessing between 4500-5000. The trailer has 4-wheel discs so stopping is awesome. I have the tow package. If you are gonna go 2WD like mine get the TRD package to have the (Sport) traction-loc rear or (Off-Road) locking diff. It will help out at the ramp. The truck has plenty of power for what I am towing.
