Default titan brakes

There's lots of feedback on Kodiak and Tie down brakes, but little on Titan brakes, Eastern Marine has Titan kit with a swing tongue actuator for a good price, and I was looking for feedback.

With all of the trailer and brake talk on here, I can't believe no on has offered their opinion....

The quality and finish of the brakes is nice. We have sold these for almost two years now. Most of the feedback we have received has been positive. There have been a few minor issues but Titan has taken care of them. The biggest issue is not the brakes but the swing-away tongue kit. It only fits 3x5 tongues and customers with 3x4 can't use without an adaptor. Give us a call if you have any specific questions.

Eastern, if tie down are considered the lowest quality, and kodiak all be it expensive are considered top of the line, would you consider Titan to fall in between the tow?

Yes, they seem to fall somethere in the middle. With the TieDown vented brakes it seems that some of our customers have great luck with them and some have not. I know they have had more then their share of problems.

You can't really beat the Kodiak S-Cad brakes when it comes to quality and price.

If I ever have to eat my words on my TD's and they need replacing, this is the route I will go... They look like a solid value.

My trailer, new in May, came with the Titan's. I thought it was coming with tie down's but in fact they were Titan's and so far so good, however like you Afishinado, I go above and beyond when it comes to rinsing .... my routine is salt away, then a long rinse, then a good coating of WD.
