Lot of people love Float On, opt for e/h brakes and led.

Float one seems to be the #1 choose.

find a local trailer place and see what they sell. Most of the big name companies are pretty good. Some trailer manufacturers come standard loaded with stainless fittings, led lights, heavy duty guides, kodiak disc brakes, electric over hydraulic brakes, heavy duty winch stand, heavy duty winch, etc...Just depends on how much money you want to spend. I had a loadmaster worked great no issues. and i just recently bought a continental...local guy sold them and was very happy with the quality compared to the price.

Check out this site. Even though it is not in NY, it might be helpful. www.slideon.com I have a WC 27 TE and have a 2 axel trailer. I am going to buy a new 3 axel from these guys. They know what they are doing. I used to have a boat in Cutchogue, NY, I miss the striper fishing. My boat is now in Islamorada which is pretty fun though.

Why are you upgrading?

I am considering upgrading because of several issues. My 2 axel trailer with the weight of my WC is near its capacity. I am uncertain about the brakes condition. I like having the extra variance for error with 3 axels opposed to 2 if a blow out occurs. I pulled a Grady White on a triple axel form Cutchogue to Islamorada and back without incident. I have heard that a 2 axel trailer when a blow out occurs is just a yard sale. I was looking at Ford Excursions but have moved on to a Ford F350 2008. The price difference is not much but with the 350 getting a much newer truck than a 5 year old excursion to me I will go for the truck. The new trailer will have kodiak disc brakes on all axels but when the WC is north of Jacksonville it will be on a cradle. I may be acting too conservative but with close to 10000# behind me I want to be able to stop.

I would be interested in your used trailer since I will be using it for short hauls at the end of the season.

I found a used trailer for a 26 GB, it a tri-axle, will the ramps work on my 27 WC?

I have a friend who tried that - he borrowed a 26 GB trailer to tow his 27 WC, and he said that unknown to him the centerline of the hulls on the WC was different than the centerline of the hulls on the GB trailer, and he damaged the GB trailer to a cost of $700.
