Great looking truck. I love the crewmax. Out of curiousity what is the purpose of the 4 lights on the front? Can you drive (legally) on normal roads with them on?

Lights are strictly for OFF-Road purposes/situations . Something a true redneck finds himself in often.
The bull bar they are mounted on is a Warn Multi-mount that has a receiver tube that will mount a Winch on a Tray. That way I can remove the winch when I don't need it... about 90% of the time

DoorK, that's exactly the truck I've been looking for! Also, Warn setup is the bomb! I'm still shopping around for the smaller cab and hope to have one by the end of the year.
I have had my 08 Tundra for just over a year now and love it. I dumped my 07 F350 CC SRW FX4 Diesel (POS)for this truck and never looked back.
When I was young and didn't have a job or pay taxes, I thought that buying from the Big Three was the only option if you were a true American. Now I see that it is the UAW / Democrap option. I will never again buy UAW ANYTHING, if I can help it.
Nice set up! I like that color too. And Thanks for your service!

Looks nice, does it have a leveling kit on it? What size are the tires on it? Thanks.
Thanks guys. I love this truck and would tell anyone to get one without worry. My truck has a 3+2.5 lift. I went with a block and AAL in the rear to keep the forward rake that it comes with from the factory, plus the AAL will prevent the axle wrap that can come with blocks. The tires are BFG AT's 305/65/18 and I may go up to a 285/65/20 down the road when I need new tires. I picked up some factory 20" rims from one of the Tundra sites.

Traded in my 2006 Tundra for 2010 with a 5.7. Dont do a lot of towing but just loved the power of the 5.7. I was wrestling with buying a Ford, I really liked the vehicle and the deals with Ford were really good. Ford has come a long way and is definintely a force to be reconed with. But in the end the Toyota just kept comming back to me.
My dads Tundra has 253,000 miles on it! same motor and trans!!!! cant beat that!!! I love american made but WOW!! can a trans last 253,000 miles in a chevy or ford?
Started watching this thread as we are looking to sell the '04 Tundra for an '10. Looking at the motor options I have found the 4.7 is being dropped for the new 4.6. It is a 310 hp de-stroked version of the 5.7. Mated to a newer designed 6 sp auto, they claim 20 mpg hwy with a 4:10 gear.
There are some rumors about a SFE version that will get even better mileage. The 6 speed has two overdrive gears.
I have owned these trucks since 1971, they were called Hilux back then. I keep buying them because they just don't break, and if they break, I gotta pay.
Toyota invested over a billion dollars on their plant in SanAntonio, Texas to build these trucks. They employ almost 2,000 American workers. Good enough for me...
I just bought an 09 Sierra Denali this past saturday. After owning an F150 for 3 years I was not impressed with Fords 09's, thinking that it's the same old truck with no real advancements other than the fluff like bedside steps and automatically retractable side step bars. I will say that the F150 held up VERY well with not one issue other than brakes and oil..granted I only had 32k miles on it. I did jump into a tundra during the decision making process but felt it was smaller inside and the doors felt lighter/thinner. While nice I didn't feel it was for me. One drive of the Denali with the 403HP and 417ft lbs of torque I was sold.
Congrats on your new truck, it sure is purdy and best of luck with it.
