Does anyone out there have any experience with any of the bed liner products? I visit the many brand name everybody said that his product is good. I am confused and looking for good spray on bedliner at normal cost around $400.

Line-X without question...

I had my '07 Sierra sprayed the week I got it, and it looks about the same to this day just duller. If you opt for the Line X ultra (I think thats what its called) it will stay glossy or even color matched. I get compliments on it all the time. Send me a PM if you have any specific questions

I had my Silverado done with RhinoLiner about 3 1/2 years ago and really like it. The cost then was about $450 if I remember correctly... My truck is just a basic work truck used to tow my skiff 20 to 25,000 miles a year so it sits at one ramp or another many days each year. When I replace this rig, the next one will be done the same way. Haven't seen a hint of corrosion or any other problems with it. Occasionally it's used to haul bulk trash to a waste station and the bed never shows a mark... When I had mine done black was the only option, but mine was done for practical reasons - not appearance.

I had Rhino Liner put on when my truck was new (99 F250). 10 years later still looks fine, a little faded and scuffed, but I'd do it again. I think it was around $500 for the bed and sides. I didn't do the top rails as they were covered already.

At work we've had both Rhino and Line-x and both hold up very well. The Rhino is a little more like rubber with an orange peel texture. The Line-x is harder and textured more like non skid. If you haul dirt, sheet rock, ect. on a regular basis, the Line-x seems to stay looking a little nicer. The Rhino liner seems to do a little better at keeping stuff from sliding around. Both are great products.

I agree, have had both and the rhino is a little softer and prevents more sliding but the line-x is just as good just a little harder.

I had Rhino in a Silverado we used in a micro brewery to deliver kegs locally. After 3 years of stainless kegs in and out, slamming, rolling etc. I never had a scrape, cut or even a ding in the underlying metal. I really like the way it kept things from sliding. Would use again in a heartbeat!

I posted the same thing a month ago. In CT, The Rhino was 550 and the linex 500. I went with the Linex - they did an excellent job - very clean and professional. I hitnk the Linex goes in hot and the rhino is a cold process. I like it.

I have found that costs in CT for these kind of things are usually 10 to 25% higher than in the South.

If you can, I suggest you find a truck with each and feel it for yourself. I had a Line-X and found it to be too abrasive. Nothing would slide on it, but if you had something in the bed that moved around a bit with road bumps the line-x worked like sand paper. It would abrade wood on furniture and remove paint from metal or wood. It is a good product, but I found it a little rough. When I got another truck, I called them to ask if it could be applied to give a little less abrasion. He said it hardens as soon as it hits the bed and nothing could be done.
On the other hand, I fing that the Rhino is too soft, and cargo is too difficult to slide to get it out of the bed. I know, I sound like I'm whining. I'm just trying to give you some info so you can look at them and decide for yourself.
I would up at a truck accessories store and got theirs. I don't know the brand name, but it's sort of between the two others. I load a lot of heavy metal products in the truck and have gotten a few tears in the liner. The good thing is that there is a lifetime warranty on it and I just drive up and they repair it.

Both are great...I got the Rhino about 4 years ago and it's still going strong and looking good...My dad went with the Line-X and likes it as well...both are about the same price and quality I have found...good luck

I used to own both types of sprayers both are good products, one advantage rhino, armorthane and other cold spray have is they can heal or be repaired easy.

Smile spray on bedliner

For the price, durability, function and application method, I highly recommend the qwikliner bed liner.

Line-X all the way. I've had it in both my F-250's, 2002 and 2003, and my 2004 F-150. I have hauled just about everything you can imagine from scrap steel, gravel, bricks, busted cinder blocks, broken up tile cement beds with wire lathe sticking out, firewood, lumber, and the list goes on. Stuff holds up like a champ, and if you do manage to damage it, a quick trip to the Line-X dealer and they'll fix it for you for cheap. My guy charged me 20 bucks to patch up about 6 different spots where I gouged it over the years through my own stupidity.

Although I have seen many good looking Line-x liners, mine has been nothing but trouble......the local franchise is worthless.
First installation did not clean the bed, so dirt cause bubbles and peeling, brought it back and they just sprayed over it....didn't even remove the loose material...called the corp office and they gave me another location to bring it to......wait and see.

If they don't properly prepare the surface, you will have problems no matter what liner you choose. I had a problem with on of the Line-X folks here when I had some things done on my old boat, and it was much like you said...flaking, peeling off. I call them back, they did a half-assed job of trying to fix it, so I took it to the one closer to my house, and they completely stripped, prepped, and re-did the whole job, and they got the Corp Line-X to cover most of the charges. Definitely good people.

Why have a spray-in bed liner put in a new truck? It seems to me a better idea would be to use the truck a few years and let it get some wear on it, then have the liner sprayed in. Not only would it look like new, it would be new.
