Default Load Rite vs. Venture?

Looking at both. Can anyone advise which is better? The price delta is ~$400

I can't say which one is better, but I have a Venture aluminum bunk style. While I can't say its the best trailer in the world, I think its built just fine. I bought mine separately from my boat, so I had to configure the bunks to fit my boat properly. In the grand scheme of things $400 difference isn't that much. You may want to see what dealer will treat you best.

I have a Venture and my brother has a Load Rite. Pay the few extra bucks and get the Load Rite if you do a lot of trailering , If not save the money and get the Venture.

I just factory ordered a new trailer...i went with a loadrite....very good quality with solid design features. I ordered stainless brake lines, radial tires, LED lights and a wheel jack. Recognize that you will get Tie Down engineering brakes and hubs. While many people complain about Tie Down, I feel they are very good components, but you must take time to maintain them.

If you go aluminum Load Rite, be absolutely certain to order the optional stainless fastners. That was my only complaint on the 04 I had, they put cad and galv fastners, that sucked (see below)... My 08 has it.... Nice

Thanks for the response. Galvanized vs. SS hardware is a concern. Another concern is tie down vs. kodiak brakes. I priced a LoadMaster with those options but its about a 20% increase in overall price.

I am looking at the two trailers myself right now. It is $500 difference but the LR has torsion axles and the Venture has the leaf springs. Not sure which route I am going to go but will make a decision in a week or so.
