Best truck tires I have ever bought, and all I use on my trucks now, is the Bridgestone Dueler AT Revos. Hands down the best, more quiet, but still aggressive tread, however they are probably the priciest tire choice.

Reason: spell
great tire with good wear. i got around 65,000 miles out of my last set pulling boats and enclosed trailers around about 4-6 times a month. keep them rotated and you'll be fine
I have 70k on mine and don't plan on replacing them anytime soon. The last truck had 65k on the tires before I sold it with the tires still showing life. I rarely check the pressure and only rotate occasionally..... I would definitely say i have gotten my moneys worth out of the sets I have had... The toyos and nittos seem to be highly regarded as well.
I own a 96 ram 2500 that I originally put bfgs on and found them to be very dissatisfying. When I would try to pull boats up a steep ramp I would get a lot of tire slip. Also when I would go of road the tires were not self cleaning so I would easily spin my tires. So after I wore those out I bought a set of Cooper discovery all-terrains, and love them. The tread pattern is spread more apart so they are self cleaning. When I tow boats up ramps I don't have any more tire slip either. My tire size is 33x12.5x16
I second the cooper or any cooper made. I have a dodge 2500 diesel. I had both the bfg and the coooper. I had the bfg put on at an offroad shop when I bought the truck, they used some powder to help balance them on the inside. I rotated them quite regular and they lasted about 60,000 miles which is really good considering the wieght of the truck. I then bought some goodyear wrangles and they last about til I got home. 15,000 miles. Then I bought cooper. I have about 40,000 miles on them and they still appear to have 50% or better tread. For the money cooper is really good. I don't know what they cost now, but at the time I bought mine they were a little more than half of the BFG. Just rotate and balance them regular and either will last.
I also agree with the bfg not being a good self cleaning tire.
I've had them on a Bronco and got over 75K out of them and now have them on my F150 and have over 60K on them. If you rotate every other LOF you will get lots of life and they have always hooked well on any ramp I was on even covered in sand. I tow a 23 contender 120 miles round trip every weekend and also a 30 travel trailer a couple of time a year. I also run them a 50 psi.
I am on my 4th set of the BFG ATs between two trucks, 88 diesel suburban 4x4 1/2 ton and 99 4dr Tahoe 4x4. Best mileage out of them is around 50-60k. I ran 32s on the burb and 265s on the Tahoe. I keep between 55-60 psi in them and they wear great. I do rotate them every oil change. For the money, they are a pretty good tire. I like the Michelin LTXs but cannot justify the $1000 prices I was quoted for putting them on my Tahoe. For $775 installed, I couldnt beat them.
Dont know that I will ever own a nother tire. Plus they just look great and do not slip at all on the boat ramps.

I agree 110% I have the REVO's on my Suburban and during the snow this past year they were like having glue to the pavement the wear is slow as well have 15K on them and they show no tread wear at all and unlike the BFG AT's I used to have they are rather quiet, mainly highway driving but real impressed by these tires.
BFG A/T's are awesome tires. I am on my second set. I got 40k out of the first set. Running them on the exact same truck as you. I would pay close attention to the width of the tire and the width of the rim. A buddy is running the metric equivalent of a 35 on the kr 18's and they balloon a fair amount my first set of at's where on lariat 17's and they had the same problem. I am running a 285 70 20 i think now and they fit the rim perfect and are wearing much more evenly. I bought a set of stock 20's off a guy on another forum. I also like the stiffer sidewall for towing my 2 cents

The only time I have noticed any road noise from the BFG ATs are when they are really worn and havent been rotated in a while.
What do the Revos run price wise compared to the BFGs?
