You'll be happy with that. I run an '05 2500,CTD, auto, 4wd, club cab. My turbo intercooler was replaced under warranty because of a cracked housing. Inspect yours, it should have metal (not plastic) housing where the rubber hoses connect. Otherwise ,I have been very happy with this truck. I have 50K on it now and have been running the Juice w/Attitude programmer for about half those miles. It has also made 3 round trips to Baha towing my 251 and 24SS. I honestly can't imagine tougher towing conditions than the Baha highway with 100+F temperatures with the wife, 3 children and a dog, the A/C blasting, a completely packed truck and boat cabin, grinding up steep canyon switchbacks...........Not one hiccup along the way.

I added the Juice primarily because of its ability to monitor additional engine parameters such as exhaust EGT, turbo boost, throttle, transmission slippage, coolant temp, MPH (with oversized tires), etc. Up to 4 items can be displayed on the LED screen. It also allows limits to be set by the owner. At the limit, it will throttle back to prevent possible engine or transmission damage. It has 6 selectable settings with 0 being stock. I have run it in #3, and the additional power is eye opening. I think 4 or 5 would be narcotic

Enjoy!

I have a 2007 new body style 2500 hd duramax and I get 15mpg on the highway and about 10mpg pulling our 2895 Triton. Pulls the boat great and I love the truck. We have a 07 2500 6.0 gas work truck and it is slow and weak, thats why I bought the diesel. The work truck averages 12.1 on the highway. Powerwise no comparison to the duramax.
