*#@! Bugs! I have a three hour tow to get my boat to a suitable ramp. Upon arrival, I always have a fine plastering of dead bugs on everything from the rub rail up. The radar and leading edge of the t-top especially take a beating. It appears that no amount of wax can stop bug juices from being driven into the gel coat at 70mph.
I really don't want to hassle with a trailering cover. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with those "air deflectors" that you install on the roof of the tow vehicle, or any other device that may keep the bugs off? |
