Fully restored Boston Whaler Outrage 22 (1986) with a 2002 Toyota Hilux Double Cab 4x4, 2.8 Liter Diesel with a 4.10 gear and factory limited slip rear diff. It can pull a 29' fairly easy.

Nice looking rig. I didn't know Toyota recently made a diesel, actually it looks much like a Tacoma. Whats the towing capacity on the hilux?

Jewel- That think looks like a beast! What kind of boat does it tow?

thanks mate, was towing a 22f plate alloy, just sold my ute, and now use this Nissan Parthfinder

Just got the truck. Very basic Chevy 1500 - crank windows and all. But Love it. Haven't towed the boat yet but any day now....can't wait

GF, Yeah i can but it isn't a great idea. I had some suspension and brake work to make it easier. I don't tow it but maybe once a year though and if I get into a bind we have a Denali witht he 6.2L. It stays drystacked or in a lift and we can run the boat between places in about and hour and a half. I plan on a 3/4 ton but I am waiting before the money gets spent.
