07 Tacoma with V6 and 22 WA Proline. Love my truck and love my boat, but it gets a little tough on inclines.
What is the wet weight of your boat? Just curious... I have a 05 Taco DC 4x4 that I pull my 24' CC with.
according to NADA, 3000 dry, but im sure its up atleast around 5500lbs loaded with the trailer. it tows it well, only problem is when im in cruise goin up inclines on 95, i usually have to turn off the cruise so i dont downshift and rev the rpms too much.

What gear are you towing in? D or 4. I tow in 4 and haven't had any problems but I have only towed the flat lands. No hills yet.

i tow in 4. if i put it in D, it downshifts every 10 seconds. the manual says to tow in 4 anyway and use premium. i've hauled the boat in some mild hills on the west coast of florida around cedar key, bronson area, and its no too bad. i probably wouldn't attempt to tow up mountains. this truck will haul watever you want on flatland. i've towed a bobcat that in all weiged arond 8000lbs, it was not easy though.
