F150 is my son's truck. My tow is a Tahoe Z71. The F150 gets about 9.5 and the Tahoe gets right at 10 when towing. I like the over-the road towing ride a LOT better with the Ford - I'm sure it's the longer wheelbase and stiffer suspension. Both vehicles are fine with the towing load of our GW. If I had the $$$, I'd have a diesel pickup though for the torque on the hills.

I snapped this photo right before we hooked up the boat and went out for a dive this winter.

You probably have. A year ago in May the company I work for lost the building to a fire, we were renting part of the building on the canal at the end of Howe street, directly across from the MP's while it was being rebuilt.

Check out this site, gives some of the specs on the 416's and U1100's

http://www.tractivforce.com/index.ph...pecs&Itemid=69

Not sure of the towing capacity but it will carry over 5000 lbs in the bed....offroad....

Read somewhere that they can tow 22 tons, but haven't seen that in any spec sheets anywhere and seems optimistic.

Nice rig hogsticker. Do you guys leave your enclosure on when you're on the highway? And if you do have you had any problems with it as a result? I always take mine off so just wondering.

The Albin, the one and only time we've had her on a trailer; delivery day:

The Outrage, sitting in the seller's driveway the day I picked it up:

And at Costco just outside of Sacramento, on the way home as well:

And the 13' Whaler behind the Tahoe:
