Default Big Game Club get together

I am having a BIg Game Club, Hull Truth, get together May 17-19th.. I am thinking about people who have never made the crossing and have reservations about doing it alone. Everyone could meet up in Ft. Lauderdale and caravan across with a lead boat (I am willing to do that if needed) We could have a fun tournament offshore and spearfishing divisions etc. Just have a fun family weekend. all imput is welcomed

I am trying to get something going for next Spring/Summer, this will give everyone time to chime in on times and activities and make plans with work etc. Please PM me if intersted. I think this could be a great time. We will be able to get great discounts for slip/room packages with a group. Are you interested in a little fun tournament thats one day?

We are planning on going in June. I have 3 other boats following me to Ft Lauderdale. This could be a blast!

We are all pulling from Thibodaux, La. area, which is south of New Orleans. 2- 25' Rangers with twin 150's, 1 36' CH, and possibly another 36 Contender. But at the rate it's going could be another 2 boats!

I would have everyone meet in Ft lauderderdale and depart from Port Everglades inlet headed for Bimini where everyone would get tied up and checked into customs. If you are unfamiliar with the process I am there to provide any assistance with that as well. The first week of June seems to be where everyone is leaning toward. Would sometime before Memorial Day work for yall?

Most of June is already booked solid at Big Game in June. Lets shoot for sometime in May, I would recommend the week before Memorial Day weekend. The Full moon is teh 24th which is Friday of Memorial Day weekend so that week prior will have great fishing. Please let me know dates that will suite you
thanks

Count us in.... Always looking for a excuse to go. You need to get Mr. Webber in on this post and maybe get a group deal going.

Weber is in I will be putting it all together. 3-2-1, can you do sometime before memorial day? All of June is pretty much booked up on the hotel side so may would be best. Please help me to put together some dates and I will begin putting this together.

I would be very interested in going as well. I've never made the run to Bimin, but often run a lot further in the HHI area just to go fishing. My only concern would be taking my twin 3 1/2 year old boys with us in the event it got rough. I've got a 31' Cape Horn but my thought is that they might be just a bit young as they really don't understand the whole sitting still concept. What are your thoughts?

ok guys I am thinking the weekend of May17-19th. I spoke with Mike today and he is putting some things together for us. There is a billfish tournamnet going on here the same time so there is sure to be lots of action going on. I will get customs paperwork to you prior to departing from Fla so that you can all have it filled out ahead of time for those who have never brought a boat through before. I am thinking we have a fun tournament on sat for those interested with just a $100 caluctta if you want. Or everyone could go down to Honemoon Harbour for the day.
Thanks
Skipper
