Default Site logging me out

Mods -

I am experiencing numerous log-outs from the site, some within mere minutes of each other. This has been happening for a while, but I was hoping that the issue would be worked out and elected to not complain.

This happens under every major Windows browser (IE8, Chrome, FF3.5) on three major versions of Windows (XP Pro SPIII, Vista SP1, Win7-64) and through multiple connectivity providers (Comcast, Verizon, TDS Telecom).

Any thoughts?

Mike

Usually the issue is resolved if you log out using the "log out" button (and not letting the site log you out. That should clear your cookies, then log back in and check the "remember me" box when you log back in.

If that doesn't work, let me know and I'll see what else I can come up with.

Tried it, even deleted them manually. Still experiencing the same behavior.

I have had similar problems. I'll log in to reply to a post and a few minutes later when I try to submit it the site will tell me I'm not logged in. Login again and post goes through. Doesn't seem to matter which computer or browser. I've taken to just browsing the site as a guest most of the time.

I've turned it into tech. It's been a problem at other times, but not for very many people, so it's a bit elusive. I'll keep you updated as I learn anything new.
