Default Can't connect to THT via wireless laptop

From my home computer I get to THT fine, but from my wireless router connected laptop I always get the message "website not found". This laptop gets to every other website. (weather.com, google.com, etc.)

Both computers are connected to the same broadband cable company internet connection service.

Does THT now block wireless router connected systems from connecting? This used to work but a month or so ago it stopped connecting to THT, but still connects everywhere else.

Any ideas?

No, THT doesn't have that ability, and wouldn't do that anyway. (my 3 cents)
Sometimes I too cannot get in via wireless or 3G, but I feel it's a function of either a slowdown on the internet or that THT is very busy.
THT cannot afford all the servers and bandwidth that Yahoo can.
Maybe try at a different time.

Have you changed where you are using your laptop, perhaps your signal strength is not
as strong, I use my wireless laptop everynight and always get on THT, i do notice
that sometimes I can not get on if i try going threw AOL, in which case i just switch over
to explorer and all is fine

THT definitely doesn't block any types of servers. I use a laptop on two different wireless routers (home & work) and using a 3G aircard. It may be something to do with your settings, such as using a proxy server. Have you tried it with a different browser using the same wireless connection?

Make sure you didn't inadvertantly add THT to your blocked list in your anti-virus or firewall.

Since I can get to THT via another laptop using a wireless adapter and the same wireless router, I suspect that my BitDefender firewall or "whitelist" is blocking access. It used to work, but something changed. I haven't figured out how to display the blocked websites in my BitDefender software.

Hope this helps:

The BitDefender Firewall protects your computer from unauthorized inbound and outbound connection attempts.

By default, BitDefender automatically allows all the programs from its Whitelist to access network services and the Internet. A Whitelist is a list of programs that the BitDefender labs have determined to be safe.

By accessing the Programs tab in the Firewall module, you can view the programs rules and add new rules. To edit and remove rules you should access the Firewall module from the Expert View.

You can "allow" or "deny" the access to a certain application. You will also be able to indicate the path of the program you wish to restrict, block or allow access and to add your favorite programs to the whitelist.

You can edit rules, add new ones, and specify the path of the program you want to allow or block.

A Troubleshooting wizard will help you sort out any issues related to this configuration. The wizard will check for a connection, and if access to the Internet is not available, you will be redirected to integrated support. According to the specific situation, the wizard will generate a rule that will be passed to the firewall application logic. The Troubleshooting wizard will be launched from the Firewall interface and, if appropriate, from Integrated Support, as an additional troubleshooting method.
